Automate Certificates documentation
Getting started
Automate Certificates issues and renews TLS certificates through ACME v2, deploys them to your servers and cloud services, and warns you before one expires. A workspace holds your certificates, targets, members and audit log.
Start a trial or buy a plan
- Open the Automate Certificates buy page on spot-suite.com and choose Team or Business.
- Pay by card to start the 30-day trial, or choose invoice billing, which is paid from day one and has no trial.
- Wait for the confirmation. Your workspace address has the form
https://<workspace>.automate-certificates.com.
Open your workspace address and choose Sign in with Spot Suite. Every plan signs in with a Spot Suite account.
Set up your first certificate
- In Settings, register an ACME account. A certificate cannot be requested before one exists.
- On the Certificates page, request a certificate for a domain you control.
- Add a deployment target, then deploy the certificate to it.
- Check the Alerts page: expiry and failed-renewal alerts start on their own.
Start with a certificate that has a real owner and a real outage risk, such as a public web certificate.
